Divisions of “Advanced” and “Intermediate”: This is to categorize yourselves, to help you know how you ranked throughout the day.
We won’t have timing chips, but there will be a running clock at the finish line.
This way, if your selected time slot wave happens to be unevenly matched, you can still have an overall placement within your division, at the end of the day.
So what constitutes Advanced or Intermediate?
As a vague guideline, if your 5k time is less than 23min, and deadlift (for reps) is 225 or greater, choose Advanced; If your 5k time is greater than 23min, and your deadlift (for reps) is 225 or less, choose Intermediate.
Again, this is just so that if you don’t want to compare yourself to the three competitors you’ll run with, you can still see how you ranked your with everyone in division throughout the day.

What you should be good at: sandbag carry, shuttle sprints, wall climbs, balance beams, tire flips, hurdles, bear crawls, farmer’s carry…
All of this and more.
You should be able to do these and do them quickly!
