The Garage Games, the NWA Strongman Club, and CrossFit Fayetteville are proud to bring you another first! It's the NWA Strongman Challenge, a NAS sanctioned Strongman competition, coming your way on July 11, 2015! All participants must be active NAS members. You can get your NAS membership at http://strongmancorporation.com/nas-registration/ or sign up on the day of the show.

Weigh-ins will take place both the night before the event (details to come on that) and at 8:00 am on the day of the event.  Competitor’s meeting will be at 9:30 am.  Competition will start at 10:00 am sharp!

Also, NAS membership cards can be purchased onsite and will be mailed to you directly!!

THE EVENTS:

Press Medley (axle, log, dumbbell):  Competitor will clean and  press the axle for one rep, clean and press the log for one rep, and then clean the dumbbell once and press away for reps. 60 second time limit, most reps wins.

Yoke Squats for Reps:  Competitor will begin with the yoke on the ground at the bottom of the squat position.  On the “go” command, the competitor will squat the weight up to a fully-extended position at the top and repeat.  60 second time limit, most reps wins.  Must wait for down call.  No suits allows.  Yoke height will be set based on competitor’s height and measured from the floor to the bottom of the crossbar.

Axle Deadlift for Reps (standard height):  Competitor will deadlift an axle bar loaded with standard plates.  60 second time limit, most reps wins.  Must wait for down call.  No bouncing reps and no suits allowed.  Straps allowed.

Carry Medley (farmers/sandbag):  Competitor will carry farmers 50 ft down and sandbag 50 ft back.  Multiple drops allowed.  The entire implement must cross the line for each carry.  Sandbag must be carried in front.  No shouldering and no tacky allowed.  60 second time limit, fastest time wins.

Stone Over Bar for Reps:  Competitor will begin with hands on the bar.  On the “go” command, the competitor will load the stone over the be as many times as possible.  Bar height will be 50” for women and 54” for men.  60 second time limit, most reps wins.  Tacky allowed.

**Weight classes with less than 5 competitors will be combined.
