Grab the best teammate you can find, your “District” honor is on the line. Â Teams of two (one guy, one girl) will battle it out on December 9th on Long Island. Â Get two top notch athletes to compete as an RX team, can’t get two RX competitors… then join the Open division fit for any level from Beginners to RX.
Event #1 –
10 minutes:
One bar per team: Take 10 minutes for both competitors to build to a Triple Hang Power Clean:
– Must be done in one grip of the bar. A Set of 45’s, 25’s, 2 sets of 15’s, 2 sets of 10’s and a set of 5’s will be given for every lane.
Event #2 –
6 min AMRAP: (1 partner works at a time)
5 Thrusters (105lb./70#) (scaled: 70lb./35lb)
5 CTB Pullups (scaled: jumping pullups)
Event #3 –
8 min AMRAP:
Max Calories Total Burpees
1 partner rows while other performs burpees to 45lb Bumper plate. Partners must switch every 30 calories. Score is total calories + Total Burpees
There will be a cut after event #3.
Mystery Event #4: Top 20 Rx and Top 10 Scaled Teams will make this event. This workout will be announced The morning of the competition.
Final Event: Top 5 RX teams will make this event. This event will be announced along with the finalists.
